What you will learn

• Critically assess whether a given financial product, structure, or contract adheres to the conditions set forth in the relevant AAOIFI standard

• Detect violations of Shari’ah principles and rules in real-world financial instruments and propose compliant alternatives aligned with AAOIFI rulings

• Contrast AAOIFI’s rulings with alternative Shari’ah interpretations or national standards, and form reasoned positions on harmonization or divergence
